The Indiana Cancer Center opened at the Indiana University Medical Center in 1992. Patients can be seen and evaluated in this multidisciplinary program for a vast diversity of diseases. Each patient benefits from an outstanding quality of care that only expansive experience and team efforts can provide. Because of its reputation, the Cancer Center has steadily increased patient volumes to become one of the finest cancer treatment centers in the world. This past year, the center had over 3,000 new patient evaluations. Besides a large local, regional referral base, the Indiana Cancer Center has a growing National and International referral base, particularly for primary or metastatic germ cell tumors of the chest. Each eligible patient is offered options for state of the art clinical trials as relates to their specific history.
