Technology
Extensive use of technology is an integral part of the General Surgery Residency Program.
- All first year residents are required to complete an electronically driven basic science course via Oncourse, Indiana University’s electronic course system.
- Our integrated hospital system relies extensively on the use of technology both in and out of the operating room.
- Faculty and Residents complete their evaluations via an electronic system called E*Value.
- The Center for Surgical Technology is an integral portion of residency training.
- The Resident Technology Committee has developed an intranet site to assist residents in the use of technology throughout their residency program.
